And playing around with Physical Based Rendering
When looking for something to make in order to practice my workflow with Physical Based Rendering (PBR) and Substance Painter, I had a an hard time settling on something, I needed a pretty simple object with a lot of different materials which was still interesting to make, which can be tricky to find when you think about it.
Then I saw a pair of shoes.
Triangle Count: 1288
Textures: 3x 2048×2048 ( Diffuse, Normal, Metallic/Smoothness)
One of the great thing about working with PBR is that your model will look as it should which ever lightning condition it’s under.
Also, because PBR is an industry standard, it also looks mostly the same across different software (Unity bellow)
